festival fever..

I did a shoot today for my festival project, which features a collection of garments around the theme of festivals made by my friend Claire.

We had a professional make-up artist, hired out a butty van and field, and set up tents in the woods.

It got me in a proper festival mood!

I did a photo shoot for a friend today, who wanted me to do something similar to my drop dead gorgeous shoot but based in Bolton, for a magazine that she is producing.

We got some funny looks, but I think it was worth it! Love some of these photos. I may add them to my drop dead gorgeous project work.

Books, books, books.

Looking back at the books I've made recently, I've realised they are not completly me. The books that I like are a lot more quirkier and unusual. This weekend I'm going to work really hard on my book layouts, and design something that I'd want to buy if it wasn't my own.

Whilst doing a shoot in Bolton today, we paid a visit to the Mass Observation exhibition at Bolton Museum.

Mass Observation offers revolutionary access to one of the most important archives for the study of Social History in the modern era.

On todays 'America's next top model' was a 1940's inspired photo shoot, which is similar to the shoot I'm doing next week in the Air and Space hall.

the selby.

i love the selby. it's an insight into other peoples homes around the world. I want to go to London next year, so I've been seeing what the houses are like. Mine would clearly be a 1 bedroom box, with no room to swing a cat, but it's nice to dream!
